Apps can no longer be installed / updated, what to do?

My Huawei P10 Lite does not let you update or download apps. The Play Store shows "Download pending", but the download progress bar does not even load.

We have recently a new router that can switch from DSL to LTE if necessary and has been in operation since then, the download does not work anymore. (Switching back to simple DSL is only in one to two years, says the person who wanted to set it up.)

In foreign WLAN connections or with mobile data the problem is however the same, so it lies then not only at the rout. The phone has enough space and at least new audio and image files can be downloaded as normal.

Does anyone know here how to handle or solve this? I have only had the phone for almost a year.

If you entered the pin and pull down the lock screen. Is there the Wi-Fi enabled or mobile data or both?

If you have activated mobile data but only allow updates with WLan, then it can't work.

It's just just Wi-Fi, but even if I tried it with both separately, it works with Wi-Fi not synonymous
