Android System WebView and Chrome can't be updated. What to do?

Perhaps you have noticed in the last few days that the problem occurred in Android phones that some apps could no longer be opened. Now it says everywhere on the net that you only have to update the component "Android System WebView" and Google Chrome in the Playstore. Then the error would be gone again.

So I go to the corresponding app, Android System WebView in the Playstore and click on Update.
- but then it only says "pending" for ages and nothing happens, even after about 10 minutes leave it there

The same thing happens with Chrome.

All other apps, i.e. My games, etc. Can be updated without any problems.

I would love to use my music app again and play games: l do you have a solution? I own the Huawei P30lite phone, but I suspect that's not because my mother has the same phone and doesn't have the problem.

Try times to downgrade Webview.

You can also download the part directly from the web and then install it

https://android-system-webview.de.uptodown.com/android/download

Abort. Then search for settings, apps, "Webview", 3 dots in the top right corner, uninstall updates.
