As of August 2019, no "legacy" Android update will be available for Huawei. Lt. Media, according to Huawei said the security updates remain for the time being, as far as I've read.

The damage to Google would certainly be higher in the long run than for Huawei.
That has nothing to do with it, whether Chinese or not. Trump is just afraid that the Chinese flood the Ami market. And since Xiaomi is not even as strongly represented there as Huawei, nothing will happen to them either.

Because the sanctions have nothing to do with Android. Trump is in control of the Ami networks, which mostly has Huawei. Trum Google will probably hardly go broke XD
Android is open source and Huawei already has an Android-based system, so it would not be impossible in the long term that all Chinese companies switch to it.
Huawei is used by the US as a lever in the trade dispute between the US and China. If no deal is made, it will hit Xiomi and others with sanctions. The US has put the gun on China's chest.
