Smartphone from China - topic Google?

I'm looking for a new smartphone up to 500 euro. I came across some interesting models that come from Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus & Co.

There's this problem with Huawei and the sanctions imposed by the US government in the sense of cooperation.

To what extent is the Huawei brand Honor and the other manufacturers affected or could it be affected shortly? I especially fell in love with a Xiaomi device. But I want to make sure that I can use my Android phone normally in the next 2-3 years and also have access to Google apps.

This only affects Huawei.

That with Huawei is done, attention the p40 Pro and the Huawei Mate 30 pro have no Google on board.

am

It's been a long time.

po

What does it mean exactly? The sanctions have been withdrawn?

po

So are the sanctions out of date?

am

Yes, you have to be careful for a long time now, they are probably doing their own thing.

po

Okay, I didn't know that. I also read that the Chinese manufacturers are now teaming up and developing their own app platform.

am

You're pretty limited without Google.

Not at all. Huawei receives sanctions because the US authorities want to have discovered spy technology in their radio masts. In contrast to Huawei, OnePlus and Xiaomi are not telecommunications suppliers at all, but focus on the production of smartphones and wearables. For Huawei, on the other hand, this is just a side business.
