Since I got my mobile phone (Huwei P30 Lite), I have been annoyed by weekly notifications about new updates.
I live by the motto "Never chance a running system", which is why I never install updates on PCs or cell phones for no reason.
Unfortunately, these annoying update notifications could not be permanently deactivated on my Huwei mobile phone, which is why I have now forced the deletion of the update app via ADB via the PC. With the command "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.huawei.android.hwouc" it was deleted from the mobile phone within a second.
But now I have a problem. In fact, when I go to Settings on the mobile phone, next to the menu item "System and Updates", a "red 1" is displayed. Can you still remove that somehow? (See image)
The updates protect you from viruses and other vulnerabilities
Weird guy.
Buy hold an EoL phone and install Windows 7
Postponing updates is still okay, but something negligent to refuse completely. Even if the risk with Android devices is limited.
