Do you trust smartphones from Chinese manufacturers?

So OnePlus, Huawei or Xiaomi, for example. Do you believe that your data is "safe" with smartphones from these manufacturers or do you believe that these companies belong to the Chinese state and your data is passed on accordingly.

Is that an argument that influences purchases at all for you or would you not care if the data were given to the Chinese state?

So the Chinese already have my dates. That also goes with the fact that the devil already has my soul too

Well, I mostly use custom Roms with my Xiaomi devices such as Lineage OS or Ressurection Remix or similar.

What was that again?

in the Chinese parts are American chips
Americans even bugged Ms. Merkel

I suspect that the Chinese are relatively indifferent to our "daily issues of the common man". It's different with commercial interests like Facebook, Google, etc. - oops, they don't come from China at all. Or even the data via Payback, Deutschlandcard, etc.

If I really had to worry (and my conversations are less about state secrets), it would be about The Mossad or the FSB, for example. The former is so good that nobody notices it and the Russians apparently always get away from America afterwards. State IT found.

Not even a Smart TV is safe, nor are children's toys that are connected to the Internet. It doesn't matter whether a cell phone comes from China or whether a bitten apple was put on it. They collect all the data and if someone believes that they have nothing to hide, then they are wrong. Everything is relevant, even the time of day when you use your device. Information can be drawn from every action and this information can be converted into money.
