I have the Huawei P40 lite, and it said that the Google Play services are not available. That doesn't bother me anyway, because I don't use that many Google apps anyway, and YouTube also works via the browser anyway. However, I never would have thought that Microsoft Teams or the ELBA-pay app would need the Google Play services. Is it possible somehow to install the Google Play services on the Huawei P40 lite?
No, because American companies (Google) are not allowed to cooperate with Chinese companies (Huawai).

I agree.
Google Play services have nothing to do with "Google Apps". Google Play services provide various interfaces that are used by many apps. You can't use any of these apps without the Google Play services.
The search engine you trust throws various results if you just look

I can't say whether the instructions work.
But it doesn't stop you as an end user from installing Google services on your device anyway.
Huawei is not allowed to use Google's services
I'll just tell you how to do it I use Aptoide as an app store, so I have been able to install every app so far and you also get regular updates for the apps there. I wish you success. A little tip, using YouTube via the browser is not the real thing, I installed YouTube Vanced, there's even no advertising, how to install YouTube you can have a look at: Have fun
Gets difficult without PlayStore… You'd probably have to root it
