How does it work with blocked contacts on the phone?

I had to block a contact on my mobile (Huawei P10). I've blacklisted it and blocked it on WhatsApp. But I always get messages from the system that a blocked contact sent me a message. I'm pretty sure that news comes through WhatsApp. Now my question. Can I turn off these system messages somehow?

So if you have blocked a person on WhatsApp then you will not get any notification from the person anymore as he / she / it will be notified by the blocking that the message can't be sent. And with the blacklist I've already tried that I myself have a p10 but no problems with that I still get messages!
Sorry that I can't really help you there but I'll take a look for what I've done.

I have the same problem. Also get a message that has written me a blocked contact. This does not come from Whattsapp but from the system. Is only if the one with an SMS writes. How can I turn this off would be my question.
