After that I had countless messages and asked that the video be forwarded to at least 50 of 230 WhatsApp contacts.
The selection of contacts was completely arbitrary. The people were not in a common group. They consisted of new chats, of "open" chats, ie chats with existing messages. Sometimes it has sent to people with whom I have had no contact for years.
It was also strange that after sending, I did not have an overview of all the contacts in the open chats, but mostly only those that were already in the open chats. As if WhatsApp had opened my phone book and sent it at will.

Was probably a buggy! When the chats are no longer shown. If you have the official WhatsApp then no, you have no authorization to do so.

So there can be several reasons
only the improbable:
You have a virus or something similar On the cell phone that (probably) came to your cell phone from the video, but can of course come from anywhere else, but only sent the video.
the much more likely explanation:
It was a WhatsApp bug or someone was using your phone.
I wouldn't worry unless your phone's speed drops extremely.
