Why does the Bluetooth Micro not work with voice messages?

I have bluetooth earplugs from Aukey that work great in themselves. But when recording voice messages, my Huawei Mate 20 Lite always uses the handymikro. Telephoning, on the other hand, works via the microphone on the earplugs. Does anyone know what I have to do to be able to record voice messages via this micro?
