Huawei P20 Lite screen damage? Is the repair worth it?

I bought a broken cell phone. The P20 Lite from Huawei. Can someone tell me whether it is worth repairing the cell phone yourself. I'm skilled in craftsmanship, I'm only concerned with the aspect that nothing is broken.

Since it is unknown how much the damage is, it can't be assessed whether repair and economic aspects would be worthwhile.

Do not understand the criticism from Huawei.

It's hard to say / judge. A display is usually not too cheap if it is to be exchanged completely, should it be an additional defect, it would be a complete failure to repair it.
