Yesterday my Huawei P10 lite unfortunately suffered a water damage. Promptly I put it in uncooked rice overnight. When I got it out this morning, it seemed over, since it did not turn on.
Then I plugged it to the charging station and lo and behold: it switched on! It also seemed to work normally in the beginning.
Then I noticed that the brightness switched from light to dark again and again and again. But that did not matter to me for the time being, because I was just happy to have a working smartphone.
Now, however, always the screen is displayed, which comes when I hear with my Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth music and put my phone on the box. (I do not know how to call this screen, but it looks like some kind of screensaver). He is now displayed to me permanently and unfortunately I can't do anything more.
I suspect that this is due to the water residues that are still in the device.
Now my question. Does anyone know what I could do now? Would it make sense to send it for repair, where could the residues be removed? After all, it is still on and is not over completely.
Your phone is over. By turning on a short circuit has probably emerged.
How should a short circuit have arisen if the water has already been absorbed by the rice when switched on?
When I got it out this morning, it seemed like
because it did not turn on anymore.
Then I plugged it to the charging station and lo and behold: it switched on!
It also seemed to work normally in the beginning.
Overnight simply is not enough - time too short. Nevertheless, the water may already have caused irreparable damage inside. No rice helps.
