Handy goes up after water damage only briefly and then stops / turns off?

My Huawei P10 fell into the water 3 weeks ago. It was on at this time and I turned it off right after I took it out of the water. Then I opened the back cover and let it dry for a day before I tried again to turn it on. Since then, when you turn on the phone only the Huawei home screen appears and then it goes out again / stops.

I thought only the battery is broken. So I bought a new one and built it. This unfortunately does not help, so I removed the boards and put them in isopropanol for 2 days to remove any limescale. Unfortunately, this did not help either.

The phone can still be charged as normal. I have also noticed that the phone strangely draws battery.

I really do not know what else I could do. Is the display or the display contact damaged? If not what then? Would be glad about some opinions and answers.

As far as I can tell, your efforts are in vain. There will be small interfaces that may have received a short circuit.

You can of course try to swap the components individually, but the effort + price can go beyond the price.

A small tip would be: From the mobile phone doctor at your site and ask for what it would cost and which components must be replaced. You can also mention here that you need a quote for the insurance. Most businesses do it for free.
