I tried to record a video with the Rode Wireless Go Microphone. The micro was connected by a TRS to TRRS cable, which was connected to my mobile phone from the receiver via an adapter from iNissen (input AUX, output USB C). I have a Huawei P20 Pro that only has a USB C port, so I was forced to use an adapter. When I wanted to listen to the recording, there was a loud, persistent, humming noise. I had the same result when I connected the Micro to my computer via the adapter. Then I tried to connect a directional microphone to my cell phone using the same adapter, and it worked perfectly. What could be the problem?

Well if everything goes except the mic, the mic will probably be defective
