I have a Huawei P30 Pro and a question about wireless charging. I also have the 15 watt wireless charger from Huawei (CP60, I think it is, I know, with a red ring around the outside).
And I've now observed the loading time. Is it normal / is it the case with you that the cell phone with the wireless charger charges for much more than 2 hours. (So roughly 1% for 2 minutes) Or is there something wrong with my wireless charger? With cable, it is completely normal in 60-80 minutes.
Wireless charger: 15 watts
Battery: 4200mAh
Looking forward to your replies!
Yes, that's normal.
The P30 Pro supports 15W via wireless charging and proud 40W via cable. With wired charging, the performance is also much higher.
In addition, the efficiency of wireless charging is very low. Much of the energy is converted into heat and given away for charging.
In the OnePlus 8 Pro example, there's a difference despite the same performance mentioned. It charges wired and wireless with 30W. With a cable it takes about an hour. Without a cable, it takes about 15 minutes longer.
Okay thanks, then I'm reassured!
