Should I buy the Huawei P30 Pro or the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition?

I want to buy a new cell phone. I currently have the Huawei P20 Pro and would like to stay with Huawei.

The Huawei P40 is out of the question because it has no Google Services.

That's why I want the P30, which came out last year.

This year Huawei released the P30 Pro New Edition, which has all the same components as the P30 Pro from last year but has twice the storage space and you get a Huawei Watch GT2 "free" until the end of June.

Now I wanted to ask if it makes sense to buy the Huawei P30 Pro or the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition.

My cell phone provider has a good rate system with no hidden costs.

The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition would also cost CHF 32 per month for 23 months.

Which would be better?

Better get an iPhone

I don't get an iPhone.

Since it is too expensive for the components that offer them
Most of the apps that I only need go on Android and I also have to be able to develop my own apps. These only go on Android because I would need a Mac for an iPhone to get access to the iPhone developer stuff.
Because Itunes is annoying when you want to listen to songs because you can just download the MP3 on Android
Because I have purchased apps on Google Play that can't be taken over to the Iphone.
There are many other reasons why

I would not rely on it, huawei advertises the "android" promise, whereby the android logo is not the real logo and they write that too. Sooner or later they want to switch everything to their huawei store.

If you have a new cell phone now, think 2-3 years into the future… Can't you? A lot can happen.

That you also have to make it a science. When it comes to a status symbol, you always have to take the latest model on the market.

As a private user, you can use a previous model. If you need it for your job, it doesn't matter because you can take it off the door.

I would not switch from a P20 to a P30. The difference is simply not big enough.

If you really get your watch, it's worth it. Can you sell them if you don't need them?

I got P30 new edition, I love it. Talk to your phone provider, they may be able to offer slightly better deal if you push them hard enough, like say you're leaving them, lol. The free watch helps make it worthwhile plus the extra storage and more RAM i believe.
