Wearable for Huawei P30 Lite NEW EDITION?

I have had a new smartphone since last week, the Huawei P30 Lite NEW EDITION.

I like to run a little daily or ride my bike. So far I have always used the Runtastic app, that was enough for me to keep an eye on my path and my goal, but in the future I would also like to monitor my pulse and sleep rhythm, it is not really meaningful to do the whole thing with the mobile blood pressure monitor.

I have now looked at Huawei, but would also like to know whether I can also use smartwatches from other brands or whether they are not compatible, or what I have to pay attention to when it comes to compatibility.

What is important about a smartwatch with a fitness tracker? First and foremost, it's really about the fitness factor, I can do without bells and whistles like news, etc. USB charging would be an advantage and a long battery life, the display should be rich in contrast even in sunlight. If a notification function etc. Is included, it is a bonus. It would also be important that I can connect the whole thing with the Huawei Health app, if that doesn't work, then I would be happy if it at least runs on Runtastic. I don't know my way around very well, you might notice that. 😁

If it is possible to switch to other brands, which one could you recommend to me, I'm willing to spend up to 100 euro for them.

You can also connect smartwatches from other manufacturers to an Android smartphone (except for the Apple watch). However, you need an Honor or Huawei watch to connect to Huawei Health. However, if you want a good smartwatch that comes from a well-known brand that you can then connect to many other apps, you will find almost none under 100 euro (except one from Huawei)

Thank you very much for the reply.

Do you happen to have a recommendation in mind that is worth taking a closer look at and taking a closer look at?

For example, there's the Huawei watch GT2 from Huawei. For example, Samsung offers the Galaxy Watch. Both are cheaper compared to the others and suitable for taking fitness data. (Running, swimming, …) Notifications can also be displayed by these. Advantage of the Huawei Watch: runs with Huawei Health. Of course, both do not have the same performance as other more expensive models, but if you don't need much, these should be sufficient. For detailed advice, just ask in the store (Saturn, Mediamarkt, …).

(Of course there are cheaper smartwatches from unknown manufacturers, these are only the more well-known ones that are compatible with most apps)

Thank you very much for the answer, I'll have a look at that.-)
