Edit a photo, how do I change the environment?

I'm looking for something again and I'm looking for a program that allows you to edit the background of a photo. I'll do a bsp. I photograph a person in the snow and would like to put this person on a beach. It would be good, because it is only intended for a leisure activity, if you know any program that are free with which this is possible.

ps: The picture is taken with the Huawei P20 pro, if somebody knows about that maybe an extra software.

I can recommend Gimp 2 (for the PC). Is easy to use and resembles Photoshop.

After a few hours of practice, you can cut and paste something in just a few minutes.

This works with image editing programs that can work with layers.

You look for a picture with the desired background and open it in the program. Then you have to click on the image opened in the program with the person and make the person as exact as possible. The exempted person is copied and pasted into the picture with the desired background. It creates a new level. You can then move the person to the desired place or make the person bigger or smaller at the edges of the corners. If you hold down the Shift key, the aspect ratio will not change.
