I wanted to buy either the Mate 20 lite or the P20 lite. Which mobile is better?

Just buy the cheaper one.

Both are not the gold of the egg, but the Mate 20 Lite is better.
For 300 euro you get a Huawei Honor 10 or for 250 euro an Honor Play. Both have installed the high-end Soc Kirin 970. Accordingly, that would definitely be a better choice. I would prefer the Honor 10, has a slightly better display and a slightly better camera, but the Honor Play has the better PL ratio.
