Windows Phone - New Mobile Phone?

(I have already mentioned this topic in my last question, but here again in more detail)

As in the title: I have a Microsoft Lumia 550 and I would like to buy a new phone because of better features, various apps, etc! Unfortunately, many apps are not available on WP, such as the Mc Donald App or Snapchat! That's where I searched the Internet for a new HAndy, where I was particularly well addressed: Huawei p9 Lite Mini. It's not the best, but still very enough for me. In addition, it has a good camera and enough space, because the price is pretty low. (139.95 euro)

The problem is: my parents! They are well old-fashioned - still have phone phones - but that does not really bother me. But persuading her that I can buy a new phone will be difficult or even impossible. Can someone give me good tips, such as what is particularly good about the Huawei phone and what is not good with my old Microsoft.

It's different if I had an Android, but I just do not feel comfortable with a Windows Phone

I would have the money to buy it myself. And recently my dad said that we (my siblings & me) should buy our own mobile phones in the future.

Say that you have picked out a cheap device that corresponds to the current state and will be up to date for a long time.

The Windows Mobile operating system is no longer being manufactured. There are no new apps anymore. A new purchase is only between Android or Apple's IOS. In Android, about 15% of the apps are virus contaminated, as a special antivirus program is useful.

Tell your parents that Windows Mobile is no longer properly maintained, many apps are no longer working properly or not even exist.

Maybe you can also contribute a bit of money to the purchase.

I also say goodbye to my Lumia with a heavy heart and ordered a Huawei smartphone.
