Is it normal for Google Image Search to get stuck while scrolling?

Whenever I scroll through the Google image search with my mobile phone, I can't scroll any further and have to click on the square button first and then back again to be able to scroll further. This is not the case with normal Google searches, but only with image searches. I don't know what kind of phone I have, it's a Huawei smartphone for around 150 euro. Is that normal or is the cell phone broken? I don't know that well.
