Hi, I have had the following problem with my Huawei P20lite for 2-3 days. Features are constantly being selected that I don't click. This is particularly noticeable when scrolling (e.g. Through WhatsApp). Every chat that my finger touches while scrolling is opened, making it almost impossible to navigate on the phone. Even if I want to swipe left and right on the homescreen, applications and folders that I touch are opened. When I want to enter text, several letters are often selected with one touch, which makes my texts look something like this: HAllo, wWAAasss passsiierttt HERR. Sometimes even more nonsensical stuff comes out with keys that I haven't even touched. Neither can I record audio without letting go of my finger, nor mark a message in order to delete or reply to it. On the other hand, I sometimes have to press hard or often to select an application.
As far as I know, nothing has happened that could cause something like this. The cell phone is about 2 years old. A few months ago I also had the problem where my cell phone was also spinning and I could hardly navigate or write, just like now. At that time it stopped after about 1 hour, and this time it comes back every few hours / minutes…
I'm very happy about every idea. (Would a reset probably do the trick?)
I suspect a defective display (creeping death). Definitely your files before the smartphone stops responding.
