So we do not know what Chrome OS is. We think that it is quite normal google chrome. Is synonymous with the installed apps like this. And there's an extra app that somehow hangs together. It's just google. And there we have the problem to be able to delete that.

Ok, so in the list of apps, if you select the apps you need to see some buttons. These are labeled with "finish" or "finish force" or similar. You press this for the affected apps. Then there's a button with "cache delete" or similar, you press it afterwards.
That's what makes it best for both, Google and for Google Chrome.
If that did not help, then you repeat that from now on, but still press a third button, which should also be there: "delete all data" or "put app in the new state". If you press that, then all bookmarks and history are gone! This corresponds to a reinstallation of the app!

The whole procedure went through yesterday and somehow it just would not go away. Then we let it rest overnight, wanted to try it all over and lo and behold… Suddenly it's gone 😁. This is a bit complicated with the cache for Android apps, so I will not explain it at all. But I suspect that was the problem, because that's it most of the time and what I wrote above is a method that should work on almost all Android devices.
