For the umpteenth time, I just don't get photos taken with my smartphone on my PC. In my opinion it is due to a setting on the smartphone but I can't find out which one. The smartphone is connected to the PC via USB. How to proceed: Click the start button on the Windows 10 PC. Click on photos next to the icon listing. Now click on Import at the top right of the PC screen. The photos created are imported but the last photo taken is not included. If I now click the icon of this PC on the PC for Windows 10, after opening the HUAWEI icon, the internal memory of the camera and the memory of the SD card will be displayed. The photo you are looking for is not included in both storage media. The standard path set in the smartphone is the internal memory of the smartphone. It would be nice if someone who also works with the HUAWEI 10 P Lite smartphone would have an appropriate solution to the problem.
Are your photos not saved in the Google Photos app? Then you could log into the browser on the PC and simply download it to the PC.
Try to put the desired photo in another folder on your cell phone. I also had the Peoblem with a Huawei and when I put it somewhere else, it worked. If that doesn't work, unfortunately I can't help you either.
