Transfer mobile phone data to PC?

I have a Huawei Android phone and would like to be able to retrieve my data on the PC. I read that you should use Google Drive. I have also created an account, unfortunately I can't stand it, that I can rely on the data of my mobile phone on the PC. I could upload individual pictures, but not entire folders. I would prefer to upload everything (ie contacts, all pictures whatsapp or own) on the PC on Google Drive. How does this work? And then I also have the opportunity to pull these documents, which are then at Googledrive, on a new phone?

I've been trying for ages, maybe someone can help me out.

Load in the Playstore MyPhoneExplorer on the phone and the MyPhoneExplorer client on the PC - then it works
