You are using the wrong keyboard layout, namely the English / American one. You should be able to change this on your tablet in the keyboard layout settings.

Since you have probably switched to a different keyboard layout than the German one. Just have to put it right again. If there are no shortcuts on the keyboard, you have to do it in the input settings.
