Huawei Mate 20 Pro keyboard problems?

I have had my Mate 20 Pro for 1.5 years now and suddenly this afternoon I noticed that my keyboard no longer works.

In the sense that the rectangle that surrounds the keyboard is there, but everything else on the keyboard is not visible, you can only see a gray field.

I'm not a tech-savvy guy, so you can give short tips if you've already had it and don't have to explain everything how to get there.

Restarts didn't help, nor did switching off for minutes.

The keyboard does not work in WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, or even the search function in the setting, i.e. My keyboard does not work, no matter where.

Everything else works fine.

Hope you can help me.

Then just switch to another keyboard and see if it works.

Search the keyboard once in the apps

1.Go to the settings of your device and then to "Application Manager" or "Apps"

2. Scroll down to "SwiftKey Keyboard" and select it from the list

3. Select and tap to save to clear the cache and data

4. Open the SwiftKey app and change the settings as desired.
