Huawei P9 Lite does not go down after a water accident?

My Huawei P9 Lite took a quick dip yesterday… After drying it, I put it in rice. When I wanted to turn it on this morning, it was not on, so I hung it on the charging cable. Now it flashes red every 2 seconds. What does that mean?
