I have a Huawei P20 and my hole where my headphone plug comes in (don't know the term) doesn't work. So I thought that my headphones are broken so I got new ones but it was due to the hole. So I bought an adapter but it still doesn't work
Do you have to somehow activate something on the cell phone that it works or is it just my cell phone scrap?
Probrie mall To list it or to go in with toothpicks because there's definitely dirt in it
The socket is called the hole and is probably broken or has loose contact. You don't have to adjust anything.
And your keyboard or touch thing is broken?
The jack will be worn out and the plug will no longer be in contact, alternatively you can use Bluetooth headphones, or you can have the socket replaced, if the cell phone is not yet 24 months old then this can be a warranty case, then it will be repaired by Huawei free of charge
