Airpods don't play sound when I connect them to my Samsung A51?

I have had a Samsung A51 for about a month now and before that I used my Aipods with a Huawei P20 lite.

I can connect my headphones to my cell phone via Bluetooth, but when I want to listen to music I only hear sound every now and then. Does anyone know how I can change that?

Pair the AirPods with the Samsung!

Go to the Bluetooth settings on your Samsung and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. For example, on an Android device, go to Settings> Connected Devices> Connection Settings> Bluetooth.
Unpair - or ignore - your headphones.
Restart your Samsung device.
