Airpods with huawei p20 lite?

I'm considering buying airpods, but I have a huawei p 20 lite. The airpods fit well with me and with the help of an app I could even use almost all functions. Do you think it makes sense to buy the airpods? If not, I would appreciate alternative suggestions.
