Get a new phone or wait a while?

Hello I'm in the mood to buy a new phone. I'm just hovering between the Huawei P20 and the Iphone 8. Is it worth it to get a new phone now or should I rather wait for a new phone which will come out in a few months? And what would you say? Rather the Huawei or the Iphone?
