So I have a huawei p9 which can also be unlocked with the fingerprint but I restarted the cell phone because I wanted to turn it off because I wanted to put in a memory card with 16 gb and when you turn off my cell phone you have to enter the password and you can I don't unlock it with my fingerprint and I enter my password but they say it's wrong and if I try it 3 times (uppercase lowercase) then I have to wait an hour and now I have to wait another hour just for it to do it again 3 times can try and then I have to wait 1 day or what?! Somebody has an idea how I can unlock my cell phone without losing data because when I reset it everything is gone.

Sc

Are you sure it's the correct password? Sure sure?

Cy

Maybe the SIM card pin will be queried first?

Sa

Which sim cart pin so I only have a mobile phone password the mobile phone password I before and last name of my grandpa and I enter that but it always comes up that it is wrong and jz I have to wait an hour.

Sa

First and last name of my dead grandpa and that's why I'm sure but my cell phone says it's wrong but I forgot which letters are upper and lower but how am I supposed to get back into my cell phone if I only try 3 times per hour howee.

The SIM card has a four-digit pin

Cy

If you have a SIM card in your mobile phone, you have to unlock it first. It says enter your pin code. If it isn't, I don't know what to do next.

Sa

Yes, but with my cell phone i have to enter the password what i made myself and no pin code am somehow completely confused because there's enter password and not pincode and even if how should i know the code of my sim card?

Cy

If it says Enter password, it's not the pin. Then I would advise you to go through again whether you have changed the password after all. Or whether you might have taken the after and then the first name.

And always write down which password you have already used so as not to try twice!

Sa

How should i know because i always have to enter my own mobile phone password and suddenly my mobile phone says that it is wrong although i haven't changed it.

lo

First of all, the cell phone does not normally change the password automatically.
If you have a SIM card in your mobile phone, it may first ask you for the SIM card PIN, try it with this one.

Huawei certainly also has an app to locate the cell phone or something similar, try logging into this website and unlocking your cell phone. As far as I know, Huawei does not have any Google services on the devices, but if it is possible try Google's Find My Device: http://android.com/...d.com/find

If that doesn't work, I would connect your cell phone to the PC and load all the data over, if that is possible (Android, on the other hand, is not so well secured.)

If you were able to load your data, try to reset your mobile phone (be careful when you reset the mobile phone will be completely reset to factory settings and all data will be deleted!) to set it up again and then reload the data.

Thanks for the helpful answer.

And another little question: if I had to wait 10 seconds, then 10 minutes, then 30 minutes and then an hour, how long do I have to wait after an hour if I enter the password incorrectly 3 times again. Because I'm afraid that it won't work anymore.

lo

I would say that you can enter the password as often as you like and it will not be blocked (I don't know, but I suspect it), but it could be that a setting is activated that resets the device when a certain wrong password is entered. Therefore, I would recommend loading a data backup from your mobile phone to your PC first.

Here is another procedure from Huawei if you have forgotten the password: https://consumer.huawei.com/...e00692865/
