Today, a strange scenario occurred. Namely I went from the university to the bus and had to wait about 15 minutes for the bus while I was on my phone (Huawei P8), sent a voice note and then listened to music - the outside temperature was about one degree plus (also not so good for mobile phone batteries, I know). The battery level was 30%.
When I entered the bus and sat down, I opened the camera to capture a beautiful picture; During this process, my phone turned off with the comment Handy is shut down… Off, what it actually only does, if still 3% of remaining battery remain. I turned on the phone confused again - 11% battery. Allegedly. I turned it off completely and did not pick it up from my pocket until about 30 minutes later, to connect the supposedly unloaded mobile phone to the charger. The ad indicated: 28%. So a very realistic value, if one assumes the previously indicated 30%. I then turned on the phone - 40%. Within a minute 12% battery can't be.
I'm now incredibly confused, I have been leaving the phone completely quiet for a while now, since I have other things to do before hanging out on social networks. My mobile phone does not do such actions otherwise, so this is the first time today and it really unsettles me. Do you think that's because the phone has been exposed to the cold for too long? I'm afraid that the battery is over, because I'm currently. Can't afford a new phone and can't wish me any for Christmas…
Maybe one of you knows what's going on? If you still want to know something, just ask.
It can be the cold.
However, I think it's more likely that the battery does its last puff. There are still devices with replaceable batteries. A new battery is not as expensive as a new phone.
My cellphone battery is unfortunately installed in the device…
So then a new phone.
Have a look at a Fairphone. This can be repaired if necessary.
The problem is that I can't afford it right now. Accordingly, there's actually no new cell phone in it.
Do you have a contract? If so, ask if you can switch to a mobile phone. Then you pay for the device only a small price, the rest goes through the fees.
I do not have. But I'm considering adding a new phone to the contract, I could afford it. I did not think about that, thank you!
> that the battery is over
Most likely. The symptoms match. If you keep the device warm close to the body, it could be usable for a while.
Your battery can be replaced, but not so easy - because of the special tool s.besten in the repair shop:

Since Akkus nunmal wearing parts are: Next time pay attention to removable battery.
Possibly. It helps a bit to use the device several times to the end and then to load completely. This does not improve the battery, but some devices improve the display of the battery level.
Alternative to the new purchase: used device with replaceable battery.
