Connect Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro with Huawei P20 Pro?

I own a Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro and have to get a new phone. I tell myself to get the Huawei P20 Pro. Can someone tell me from experience, if and how well you can connect the two devices together?

It was the other way round for me.

Have a Huawei phone, and I bought a Samsung Watch.

While setting up, I found that both devices are incompatible in some areas.

Ergo: Huawei Watch 2 brought, now everything funzt.

Do you still know which areas were the ones that were not compatible?

For me the most important, and decisive, was e.g. The calendar.
