Huawei p30 diving against Samsung galaxy A5?

So my buddy would sell my boyfriend a huawei p30, but my boyfriend would give it to me and in return I would give it my current cell phone (Samsung Galaxy A5). The only thing is, I love my cell phone and it works perfectly, the huawei p30 also works, but I have had my cell phone for 2 years now and can't part with it, even though I get an almost unused cell phone for it.
