Hi have the Huawei p10 and for some days a Google Assistant APP is displayed on the home screen, which was not there before. Does one know how to get this away? Previously I just had to swipe from the bottom up and Google Assistant has opened. Now that's exactly how it works, but there's this APP on the screen that I can't get rid of.
Google now wants to ensure uniformly that the assistant has not only been integrated into the system, but also has the opportunity to use it as an app. The problem is that if you have it built into the system on your phone, you can still download it separately from the PlayStore. Thus, there would be complications, if you have both variants. Is with me but also so.
Maybe it's a widget and you already have the app installed and it only shows the search bar on the home screen, so at least I understood the question. Try, if you wipe your fingers together on the home screen (as if you were going to get away) to open widgets and remove the app, unfortunately only have a p8 lite and never had the error, so I can't guarantee that it brings something, but I hope it helps
Oh right, I've got the question first misunderstood, yes I have the Google Assistant app, so either you do it in a folder and then you do not see it anymore, or uninstall it (for me that works) or you add it the hidden apps to the fact that you do not have to see them anymore, how to do that unfortunately I do not know by heart, I just discovered it by chance
