I have a Huawei mate10 lite.
I usually use only the fingerprint but the phone asks every 3 days for the code / pattern for security reasons.
My problem is that today is such a day and I have forgotten my pattern. I remember the beginning but then I can't get any further.
A complete reboot is out of the question. I can't do this.
My question is whether there are other ways to save my phone and if someone here has an easy to understand solution.
I know that a solution "My device search" should be, but there's always written that you should go to "lock" and set up a new password but this does not work for me? There's nothing displayed with "new password" or the like.
So my question is, how do I properly search for "my device" or are there easier options.
