Is slow charging gentle or harmful to the battery or should I use a 2A power adapter?
No, slow charging is good for the battery.
Lame power supply is even (marginally) better.
The less juice the power supply has, the gentler it is for the battery (as long as it has enough juice to charge the battery).
Deadly enemy of batteries is heat. More steam in the charger → More heat when charging.
And the difference is actually not that marginal, even leaving out a case can make a noticeable difference after just two years - only in relation to the battery - since the heat can simply get away better.
Charge my cell phone when I can and have the time for it with a 1.05A power supply.
Sometimes also 800mA, but that is only when I'm not using it.
Yes it works, and is even better for the battery.
Ok and wireless charging?
If my cell phone can't, I'm not familiar with it, sry
@TerraMoto: Ever heard of a charge controller? Maybe you should get some information from scratch; this is not a lead battery in an Opel Kadett!
