Huawei Mate 20 Pro does not recognize enclosed USB-C headphones?

I have a brand new Huawei Mate 20 Pro and wanted to test the included USB-C headphones, but these are not recognized.

I have tried it with the USB-C to AUX adapter and other headphones and this works without problems as well as in the car with aux cable.

Have the phone restarted but nothing brings. When I plug in the headphones, a USB device appears in the bar at the top, but the sound is still coming through the speakers instead of the original USB-C headphones from Huawei.

What can I do?
