I have ordered a HUAWEI P20 Pro by contract extension. Unfortunately it was delivered in the wrong color. Thereupon a direct exchange took place. When I opened the package there was a Mate 20 Pro in the right color in it. In the delivery note is Erststtung P20 Pro new delivery Mate 20 Pro. In the accompanying letter. We exchange the devices. Have fun with your mate. I'm an honest person and have called the provider and communicated the error. The counselor said then I put you in the private line and see what or if went wrong there. When he was back, he said, "We can gladly end the conversation here, you never called and enjoy the rest of the evening." Confused, I then asked if there would be any problems with me, as I would have said yes. He said that if he did then he would get stress. Irritated, I hung up and am now unsure whether it was a knowledgeable wrong delivery and I can keep the device? Or should I call again and see what another employee says?

Probably you have been sent a deficiency copy?

Fr

How do I know that? It is still sealed. On the pack are a thousand numbers and strangely Amsterdam as a place. Is this a Dutch import now?

Wa

If you have a valid bill and delivery note for the device, then I would not worry about that.

If the supplier sends you a better model because the other one is not available and you agree, then that's okay.

You only get problems if the bill does not match the device.

Dr

The statement is clear. They have made a mistake in the replacement and refrain from goodwill on another exchange.

However, there probably the employee internally swept something under the carpet. So it is not quite kosher.

Fr

That's why the consultation. Could I sell the phone and buy the P20 pro privately?

Fr

Is it mine then and I can do what I want with it? Does also sell and buy the wanted p20 pro?

Dr

I would keep it in your place and use it. I would not sell it.

Wa

If you have a valid delivery note + invoice with your name, address and smartphone incl. The serial numbers, then I would assume that it is yours (if that is so contractually regulated).

Of course I do not know what kind of deal you did there. Whether the smartphone is already yours or only after a deadline is in your contract.
