I got a USB C to jack adapter for my Android Huawei Mate 20 Lite, because the jack plug always went out. Now I just tried to connect the whole thing but no sound comes out. Can you stop this somehow or can I put the thing in the drawer?
What do you associate with it? You mean usb C male and jack W or what?
Yes exactly. I got the part because if I have my phone in my pocket and the zipper is closed and I want to listen to music over 3.5mm jack it will always fly out and thought that might fit.
This is not because your USB port knows no headphones
Well. Thank's for the advice.
There are 2 variants of the adapters. One does not have an integrated DAC (Digital Audio Converter / Soundlart) and the other has one.
In the first variant, the DAC is used by the smartphone. This must be connected to the USB port. The output is analog.
In the other variant with DAC, the audio signal is output digitally. That should support any smartphone. Your Mate 20 Lite is one of them.
