Yesterday I got a Huawei Mate 20 Lite. When I wanted to listen to music, I noticed that the music is not coming on my headphones, but still coming out of the phone's speaker. I then informed my friends and found out that either the jack is too small and I need a 3.5mm jack (which I strongly doubt because the jack of my headphones [HyperX Cloud 2] are also 3.5mm in size). Some others say that my "headset" is simply not compatible.
My question now: Can someone enlighten me here?
Go with your "headset" and the Huawei to the seller, who should fix it, but the warranty is there.

I got the Huawei free in a contract change of my mobile operator (Austria)
But I should assume that it should work? I already tried this morning because I thought I did not put the plug in properly, and you really noticed the contacts are "not where they should be". So I think that the headset is not suitable for this smartphone (it works on the PC and everywhere else flawlessly).
