Dear Community,
I would like to get a new smartphone, but I'm hesitating between the two models mentioned above, OnePlus 8 Pro and Oppo Find X2 Pro.
Before that, I had a Huawei Mate 20 Pro for two years, with which I was very satisfied. Due to the US sanctions against Huawei, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro falls flat for me. Samsung will not present its new flagship, i.e. The Samsung S21, until January / February 2021.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and the Oppo Find X2 Pro both belong to the BBK group and offer very similar hardware, although the battery in the OnePlus 8 Pro is said to be a bit more durable and the camera in the Oppo Find X2 Pro is better. The memory of the Oppo is also superior with a whopping 512 GB. In terms of display technology, both apparently even use the same panel with the same values.
Which smartphone can you recommend to me, also considering the update support (with OnePlus I think two years), the software, ete cetera? Have you already had personal experience with one of the two or even comparative values? Is any of you a "smartphone expert" so to speak?
OnePlus has been very good with the software in the past with little clutter.
Lately, however, a lot more garbage has gradually been added and Android 11 is now based on Samsung's OneUI, which is getting ugly
