Hi. I bought a "1 Euro" charging cable from the store "Action" because my original cable had a very strong loose connection. So my charging cable has a slight loose contact. I'm aware of that. I then used my old charging cable from a HTC (unfortunately I do not know the model, I had a HTC 1, M7, M8, M9). With that it did not charge at all. So I used it again my old cable. Usually when I load it at night, it has 100% the next morning. Just like yesterday. But yesterday it shut down 5 times, because the battery was empty. Only 10% came yesterday. Then I put an alarm clock and zack! 4% battery remain. Within 5 seconds. Then I woke up and my mobile shut down for the sixth time. Time 8:00 clock. Now at 17:45 clock it still has 0 - 1% battery. It also vibrates as if it starts up. Is it on the cable, or on the phone?
The 1 euro cable belongs in the trash can.
Other cables from your electrical drawer have nothing to look for.
Please buy the original charging cable from the dealer.
Since the phone has not been on the market for a long time, the battery should normally be fine, but batteries have only 6 months warranty, so who knows…
The loose contact could also be due to a defective charging socket, even there can help you your dealer.
