Memory card on smartphone full, although it is not like that?

I have had the problem for a couple of days that I see on my Huawei Mate 20 Lite that my SD storage space is full. Now I had the SD card connected to the PC and it came out that only about 18 of 64 GB on the SD card are occupied. In the memory settings on the phone, however, I'm shown that 63 GB are occupied and thus the storage space was exhausted. Now the question, if someone could help me with the problem.

Try to format the card via the computer, save the files that were inside, then add them after formatting.

but check again after the formatting and see if your cell phone displays the card really empty, if not then it gets complicated… Either sectors are broken or the memory card may have an invisible trash to empty it (if that does not work on a normal way) you may create a batch file on the computer and force the deletion
