Sound playback through speakers despite connected Bluetooth headphones?

I wanted to ask if somebody could possibly help me.

I have a HUAWEI Mate 10 lite, and more recently the JBL FREE X headphones.

Now it happens every now and then that I hear about the JBL music, and then the sound stops suddenly and is played back via the mobile phone speaker.

You have to turn off in the Bluetooth settings, the media profile and turn on again, then it goes again, but in the settings it is still displayed as on!

Does anyone understand why that is so and how can I change that?

I had a similar problem that I could solve by disabling the power saving settings of bluetooth but I have a s9 and no mate 10
