I have been using the Google service Android Auto in my car for some time now. In itself, I'm very satisfied with it! However, I have two little problems.
Problem 1: I have a good playback quality with normal music playback. However, as soon as I put the magic words "Okay Google" into my mouth, Google's voice plays in a very misleading quality. In addition, at the moment only 2 out of 6 speakers are used (the two front tweeters).
From time to time, the sound quality will be ok too. Then two woofers are also used in the doors. However, this is rarely the case and usually only for half a sentence. I type this evt is jumped between two modes or the like.
Problem 2: Since I got my new phone (about 1 week old) some commands are not working anymore. For example: "Okay google, navigate me home". On my old mobile phone Google Maps was started immediately and the route calculated.
Since my new phone is now playing "routines are currently not supported on this device).
To my equipment: I have the car radio Pioneer sph-da230dab, my new phone is the Honor Play with the Andriod version 8.2.0.
My old cell phone was the Huawei P9 with Andriod 7.0.
Both devices are configured the same or have the same apps installed.
Does somebody has any idea
Problem 1 will be on the built-in radio.
Problem 2 on the new phone. Maybe wait for a software update.
So much technology always brings many mistakes. I do not need such a frills, then I do not have to annoy me with the problems. Is definitely a software problem, so install updates on both devices.
