It's about the following video
When I first listened to it on my cell phone a while ago, it sounded completely normal. A few days ago I watched some video (I suspect it was here) that I noticed that the sound sounded somehow depressed and that we also heard strange electronic noises all the time. I paused the video, closed the YouTube app, then opened the app again and the video was back to normal. But when I wanted to listen to the song linked above again today, the sound quality was suddenly as strange as in the first incident. I tried the same thing I tried last time, but the quality of the sound remains the same. All other videos except this one sounded (now) completely normal.
Does any of you know why that is and do you know how to fix it? I really like this song and I would be sorry if I could never listen to it again with a reasonable audio quality.
My cellphone is a Huawei P7 lite from 2016.
Can be a software problem or just a hardware problem.
What strikes me is that this song uses an incredible amount of bass in the background (there's always a kind of gentle "hum" to be heard. It may be that the bass membrane of your cell phone has a problem with this pitch due to wear and tear. Other songs that only have short bass swings, so they could still work without any problems.
In terms of software, however, an audio filter could simply be imposed. This has never happened to me on a cell phone. But for a while my Firefox on the PC produced a similar phenomenon when I played games and Firefox had a YouTube tab open in the background with a paused video. Sound was then completely distorted for all programs. Only when I completely closed the browser and game each time did it go back smoothly.
You can try clearing the app cache and app data to see if the phenomenon disappears. Update Youtube app when an update is offered. Or go to the browser version and see if that's the case.
