I created a video on my smartphone (Huawei P30 Pro). The video contains a black picture with text as well as a screen shot from the smartphone and some screenshots.
The video has been edited and looks good in the final version. Clear presentation, no grit etc.
When I uploaded the video from my smartphone to YouTube, it looked as if my internet connection was weak and only a 240p display was possible. (Original video is set to 720p) Even a manual adjustment to 480p (more is not possible?) Brought no improvement. It remained grainy, spongy and of poor quality.
I'm very new when it comes to uploading a video to YouTube. Am I missing something there? I couldn't determine the quality when uploading.
Do you have a few tips in store?
Youtube processes the videos then the correct resolution is there
If you upload a video to Youtube, it takes a while until it is visible in the original quality. For example, if you upload in FullHD, it can sometimes take a few hours before you can watch it on YouTube in FHD.
So even though the actual upload is complete and the video is available, is it still being processed in the background and will it be available in full quality tomorrow, for example?
Sorry, I had to write that down again. ๐
That's exactly how it looks like. For me it took two days to watch a video. But if you upload a video in 720p, you will also be able to watch it in 720p.
Excellent! Thank you very much for your patience and your answer. ๐๐ป
